Speakeasy AI is designed for legitimate business communication workflows, including but not limited to:
- Speech assistance during meetings, calls, and presentations
- Text-to-speech for productivity and accessibility
- Persona-guided response drafting for professional communication
- Voice workflows using your own authorized voice profiles or third-party API keys
You must use Speakeasy AI only with proper authorization and in compliance with all applicable laws.
Prohibited Use
You may not use Speakeasy AI to:
- Impersonate individuals — Do not use the Service to impersonate any person, organization, or public figure without their explicit consent
- Commit fraud or deception — Do not use synthesized voice or generated content to defraud, deceive, or mislead others
- Harass or abuse — Do not use the Service for harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, or any form of abuse directed at individuals or groups
- Violate platform policies — Do not use the Service in ways that violate the terms of service of communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet)
- Generate illegal content — Do not use the Service to create, distribute, or facilitate content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or promotes violence
- Circumvent security — Do not attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with any security features of the Service
- Distribute malware — Do not use the Service to distribute viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Violate intellectual property — Do not use the Service to infringe upon any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
Consent and Disclosure
When using voice conversion or text-to-speech features in conversations with others, you are responsible for ensuring that:
- All participants are aware that AI-assisted speech tools may be in use, where required by law or platform policy
- You have obtained any necessary consents for recording or processing audio
- Your use complies with applicable two-party or all-party consent laws in your jurisdiction
Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- Temporary or permanent suspension of your account
- Revocation of access to the Service without refund
- Reporting to law enforcement or regulatory authorities when required or appropriate
- Legal action to recover damages caused by violations
The Company reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether a use of the Service constitutes a violation of this AUP.
